The Laughing Queen

A folk musical for children aged 7 and up, written by Anna Wahlenberg and directed by Anna Mannerheim.

Viola is a lady-in-waiting at the castle, but no one notices her - she is completely invisible. When she runs into the forest and cries tears of pearl, the witch Mollug sees her and offers a trade: if Viola gives up her pearl tears, she will stop crying, and in return she will gain a shimmering, tinkling laugh. But who will she become then?

Cast: Karin Paulin, Anna Åsdell, Samuel Lundström and 7 students from the Theatre Academy.
