Doktor Glas
Jokkmokk, Aja, Sparbanksalen, Jokkmokk
A theatrical adaptation of Hjalmar Söderberg's classic novel about the melancholic Dr. Glas and his love for Helga - a woman trapped in a loveless marriage with Pastor Gregorius. At its heart lies an increasingly urgent question: does one have the right to kill another person to save a third?
The production combines dread, unease, and passionate love with music - Jonas Hellman-Driessen takes the stage alongside conductor Tomas Isacsson. Director Emma Peters describes it as a thriller about vanity, longing, love, and solitude.
