Faktum 25 Years: Women Without Home

"It's hell to be homeless, especially when you're sober and drug-free!"

Based on a research project about the integration of the women's housing facility Alma in Gamlestaden, researchers Kristina Grange and Joshua Levy share women's own experiences of homelessness and how social exclusion can be broken. Being homeless as a woman is not just about insecurity - it is also filled with shame.

During the evening, the discussion also covers safety and insecurity: what makes us feel safe, and is insecurity the same as the risk of being exposed to something dangerous? The programme is a joint initiative between Faktum and Gothenburg City Museum.
