Landskapsbroderi: Marbosöm

In this workshop, you will learn marbosöm embroidery under the guidance of Hanne Samuelsson, who has extensive experience in textile crafts. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with previous embroidery experience. Materials are provided on site.

Marbosöm - sometimes called Västgötasöm - originates from Marks härads in Västergötland and is based on a set of embroidery stitches and patterns that were historically worked in red and blue thread on a white background.

Places are limited. Book via the link and arrive at least 5 minutes before the start - otherwise your place will be released if there is a queue. Unbooked places are released until the workshop begins. The activity is included in the museum's admission ticket. Cancellations are made via bokningar.stadsmuseet@kultur.goteborg.se.
