Marshall Live from Monument: ShitKid & Boy With Apple

On 13 August, ShitKid and Boy With Apple take over the stage at Monument in Göteborg, with DJs to follow (TBA). Entry is free with a complimentary ticket.

ShitKid is the project of Åsa Söderqvist, who since her 2016 debut - alongside Lina Molarin Eriksson - has crafted a sound spanning lo-fi pop, punk, indie rock, and experimental music. The project has attracted fans including Iggy Pop and Billie Joe Armstrong, and has performed at Roskilde, SXSW, Way Out West, and The Great Escape. After a break for nursing studies, the audience continued to grow, and now - ten years after the debut single - ShitKid is active with a world tour and the compilation albums The Essential Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.

Boy With Apple hails from Göteborg and moves between dreamy melancholy and heavy electronics: reverb-drenched guitars and analog synthesizers interweave with the voices of singers Zara Henriksson and Saga Fransson. The band has performed at New Colossus in New York, SXSW, and Roskilde. Their debut album Attachment came out in 2024, and this year it is followed by the sequel Navigation.
