It's About Democracy

Four adults wake up locked in a dark room - with no explanation. An all-powerful AI holds them accountable for a single event: 15-year-old Samir shot a boy his own age. Now each of them must account for what they knew, what they chose to ignore, and what they failed to do.

The four are an absent father, an exhausted social worker, a dogmatic politician, and a teacher searching for answers. Piece by piece, the path to the shooting is reconstructed, and the picture that emerges is more complex than any of them are willing to admit.

It's About Democracy is a drama with touches of humour that revolves around guilt, social responsibility, and what happens when the system fails its most vulnerable. The play asks who truly bears responsibility - and whether forgiveness is even possible.
