GRUND: Johan Airijoki
Nordiska Akvarellmuseet, Gothenburg
Fri entré mellan 16.00 och 20.00. Konsertbiljett: pris ej angett.
Over the past decade, Johan Airijoki has toured across Sweden from north to south while releasing a steady stream of studio albums. His art is rooted in earthy recognition and often sharp social commentary. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with The Tallest Man on Earth, Moonica Mac, and Arvid Nero, among others.
The acclaimed album "Rockens vingar" was released in autumn 2025 and explores a broad spectrum of genres - rock and country - unified by a warm, organic, and live-recorded sound. Airijoki also emphasizes humor as a vital part of his songwriting:
"Where I come from in the north, people have dark humor, pretty pitch-black, and I think it's shaped my writing a lot. It's there as a wry smile. That's something I really love."
