The Auditor in Rio

The gangster play Revisorn i Rio centres on Sonny, a young man sent to Brazil with a dual mission: retrieve gold and kill the Revisorn - the man who once served as his father figure. The play draws on noir film aesthetics to examine contemporary masculinity and its boundaries, with humour as its driving force.

Martin Preisler and Kalle Westerdahl perform on stage. Mikael Syrén directs, with the script written by Syrén and Westerdahl together. Norma Stark designed the costumes and set, while Kristian Cavdarovski handled the lighting and sound.
