Radiokören Performs Matres' Orphic Songs

Radiokören presents a classical choral concert at Storkyrkan in Stockholm on Saturday, 12 September 2026. The programme features works by Ørjan Matre, Ingvar Lidholm, Britta Byström, Laura Marconi and Richard Strauss. Storkyrkan, Stockholm's oldest church located in Gamla Stan beside the royal palace, provides a dignified setting for classical music. The historical artworks preserved within the church, including the 1535 painting Vädersolstavlan and a medieval sculpture of Saint George and the Dragon, create a profound cultural context for the concert. Radiokören is touring two Swedish dates, and this Stockholm performance marks the first of these engagements.
