Hannigan Sings Messiaen & Zorn

Barbara Hannigan brings a programme of Olivier Messiaen and John Zorn to Stockholm's Berwaldhallen on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The soprano is touring four Swedish venues, and this Stockholm concert marks one of the tour's principal stops. Berwaldhallen, the concert hall of Swedish Radio, opened in 1979 and seats approximately 1,200 listeners. Hannigan performs Messiaen's luminous song cycle Chants de terre et de ciel alongside pianist Bertrand Chamayou. The programme also features the Swedish premiere of George Benjamin's Division for Four Hands, with the composer himself at the piano.
