Núx brúx

Chara Kotsali brings the dance work Núx brúx to Kalix on Monday, 26 October 2026 at 19:00 at Kalix Folkets Hus. The piece is created by the Greek choreographer in collaboration with the Norrdans international ensemble and forms part of a four-date Swedish tour. Núx brúx explores the night as a space of resistance and desire, inhabited by night cleaners, hermits and revolutionaries. The title draws from ancient Greek: núx means night, brúx refers to teeth grinding - together they point toward a body that cannot relax, a friction unfolding in darkness.
