Jazzbrunch: Orchestra Six

Mejeriet's Jazzbrunch is back - a fixture in Lund's musical life since 1990. The programme is curated by Pål Eriksson and features three concerts: a premiere on 27 September with Esben Just All Stars + Ola Åkerman, Orchestra Six on 25 October, and Miriam Mandipiras Christmas Special on 6 December.

Mejeriet's Bar & Restaurant serves brunch with an American flavour: bagels from Chef Mama, American pancakes, bacon and eggs. Brunch can be ordered in advance or on the day.

Orchestra Six

Drummer, producer and composer Lasse Beijbom has brought together six of the region's most seasoned jazz musicians. As Sydsvenskan's Alexander Agrell noted: "...it's remarkable how Orchestra Six manages to sound like a big band. These six are among the region's most experienced jazz musicians and soloists!"

Line-up: Lars Beijbom - drums, Fredrik Davidson - trumpet/flugelhorn, Inge Petersson Lindbäck - saxophones, Ola Åkerman - trombone, Göran Schelin - bass, Hans Nilsson - keyboards.
