Godtemplarna - Hopp, Törst, Svek
Godtemplargården Älvsjö, Stockholm
In Arboga, Olof founds Sweden's second temperance lodge. He dreams of creating a hub for the entire nation's temperance movement and building Sweden's first lodge house - and soon finds both friends and love as the movement flourishes under his leadership. Yet in Sweden's first Godtemplars lodge, hostility toward the founder grows, and in Arboga jealousy takes root. Cracks appear behind the facade, and a thirst for something other than alcohol emerges.
The play explores life, alcohol, love, betrayal, and lies. Who is Olof Bergström really, and how far are we willing to go to belong to something?
