Gong + Support Khadavra

Gong's universe began in 1969 when Daevid Allen - one of the founders of Soft Machine - was inspired by a deep psychedelic vision. He wove spiritual and metaphysical ideas into an ever-changing collective, more a mythology than a traditional band.

The current line-up was assembled by Daevid before his final album with Gong, "I See You". He urged them to "take it forward to new, unknown heights and depths, far beyond anything I myself could ever have imagined" - a wish that the band would continue beyond his passing.

The band's latest album, Bright Spirit, is the third part of a trilogy that began with The Universe Also Collapses (2019) and continued with Unending Ascending (2023).
