About: Los Kjarkas

Formed in 1965 in Capinota, Bolivia, Los Kjarkas have spent six decades as standard-bearers of Andean folk music - the group whose "Llorando se fue" gave the world the melody behind "Lambada". Charango, quena and zampoña are at the core of a live show that spans huayno, saya and more than 350 original songs.
