Sienna Root + Support Morrhår, Rödtjut
Musikens Hus & Hängmattan Kök & Bar, Gothenburg
Sienna Root began playing concerts in the Stockholm area in the late 1990s and recorded their debut album in 2003 - a time when many were discarding their old vinyl collections and storing turntables in the attic. With seven albums to their name, the band is now regarded as pioneers of contemporary root rock, and has shared the stage with acts like Deep Purple, Ten Years After, Blues Pills, All Them Witches, and Kadavar.
The band brings all their heavy vintage equipment on stage, and no two concerts are alike - they constantly push musical boundaries rather than playing it safe.
Support acts:
Morrhår - Astrorock from Ring Island! The band navigates the land of vibrations, where heavy riffs meet softer Southern spliffs. With their mustache as a guide, they keep one foot on the planet and lead the audience through a world of good mos and astro-gos.
Rödtjut - "The future was better before!" - it's not just a statement but also the title of the band's latest album from this summer. If Ian Anderson had jumped into Black Sabbath instead of Tony Iommi having a fling with Jethro Tull, it might have sounded like Rödtjut.
