Siena Root is a Stockholm-based rock quartet formed in 1997, known for blending heavy organ, blues-drenched vocals and psychedelic hard rock in a style rooted firmly in the 1970s. The band released their debut album A New Day Dawning in 2004 and have since put out eight studio albums, building a loyal following across Europe through relentless touring with vintage analogue equipment. They have shared stages with Deep Purple and Blues Pills, and their live shows - often stretching into extended improvised jams - are considered the core of what they do.
Siena Root announced they are back in the studio, working on new material following the 2025 live album release.
The double live album Made in KuBa was released worldwide on October 3, 2025 via Perception / Reigning Phoenix Music.
Siena Root completed a European release tour for Made in KuBa, covering cities from Cologne to Breda with special guests Kant.
The band undertook their first international acoustic tour in March 2025.
Made in KuBa was recorded over three nights in March 2024 at the Kulturbahnhof in Jena, Germany, entirely to analogue tape with no overdubs.
