About: The Halo Effect

Five veterans of the Gothenburg metal scene - all ex-In Flames, with Mikael Stanne doubling as Dark Tranquillity's frontman - who set out to revive the 1990s melodeath sound they helped create. Two albums in, they have chart positions and sold-out headline tours to show for it.

Swedish album chart peak - debut album Days of the Lost (2022), first metal debut ever to top the chart

Swedish album chart peak - March of the Unheard (2025)
