Göteborg Art Sounds Festival 2026
Göteborg Art Sounds Festival 2026 takes place 22-26 September across multiple venues in Göteborg: Oceanen, Folkteatern, Vasakyrkan and Atalante, with more to be announced. This year's theme is "Shifting Spaces" - exploring how sound, space and listening shape our experiences. The programme spans experimental electronica and microtonal music to improvised soundscapes and site-specific organ works, alongside concerts, talks and workshops.
Participating artists include Harmonic Space Orchestra (Germany) & Catherine Lamb (USA), Clara Levy & Victor Guaita (France/Spain), Ji Youn Kang (South Korea), Farida Amadou (Belgium), Áine O'Dwyer (Ireland), Lisen Rylander Löve (Sweden), Hardi Kurda (Iraqi Kurdistan) and ensemble hybrid (Sweden).
The festival concludes at Atalante on 26 September with the world premiere of Triangulations, a new work by Catherine Lamb commissioned by GAS and written for Harmonic Space Orchestra. The day before, on 25 September, audiences are invited to a conversation with Catherine Lamb and Harmonic Space Orchestra about the work and its creation, followed by a networking coffee break.
