Harmonic Space Orchestra

About

Harmonic Space Orchestra (HSO) is a Berlin-based ensemble founded in 2019 by Marc Sabat, Catherine Lamb and Rebecca Lane, bringing together around 15 composer-performers who work exclusively with just intonation and microtonal tuning systems. The group's practice is rooted in a weekly collective workshop where members move fluidly between composing, performing and improvising - without fixed hierarchies. HSO has performed at major contemporary music festivals across Europe and released recordings on the Sacred Realism label.
