Mr Bo & The Voodooers Celebrate 30 Years

Mr Bo & the Voodooers were formed in 1996 and are now celebrating 30 years with a full evening at Musikens Hus & Hängmattan Kök & Bar in Göteborg. Over three decades, the band has played clubs and festivals, released albums, been broadcast on radio, and served as backing musicians for American stars.

The band performs in its regular line-up: Mr Bo Carlsson (vocals and guitar), Bo Hansson (Hammond), Lars Mellqvist (bass) and Roger Mörck (drums). For the anniversary evening, they are joined by Torbjörn Tobe Stensson (tenor saxophone), Patrik Putte Jansson (trumpet), Jan Fredriksson (baritone saxophone) and Per Johan Altin (piano).

Guest artist Lollo Gardtman will perform, having first sung with Mr Bo & the Voodooers ten years ago - a collaboration that has since led to numerous festival and club performances. Lollo Gardtman is a well-known name in both Sweden and Norway, recognised for live and television performances in soul, jazz, gospel and pop.
