Guided Tour in English: Ylva Snöfrid

Join a guided tour in English of Ylva Snöfrid's exhibition The House of the Muses on Saturday, 26 September at 14:00. The tour is led by art guide Heavens Okwuego and lasts approximately 60 minutes.

During the walk-through, you will gain deeper insight into Ylva Snöfrid's artistic practice and the process behind the exhibition - including the thirteen rooms around which The House of the Muses is structured, dedicated to the nine muses and the four elements.

Ylva Snöfrid is known for performative works that push the boundaries of painting. Her ritualized artistic process often takes place in shared spaces and collective rituals, where she acts as a mediator between artwork and reality. The House of the Muses is her largest exhibition to date and comprises four hundred paintings, thousands of drawings and prints, as well as custom-made furniture painted with oil and objects.
