Elina Pirinen (FIN) Ghosts of Rosegarden

In Elina Pirinen's work, a garden is inhabited by wild animals, a mother with her dead cat, and a lovesick bassoonist - accompanied by a string quartet. It is a performance that moves between ritual and humour, engaging with trauma, love, and the interplay of creation and destruction.

Pirinen brings fine art and folk art together, weaving live music directly into the stage space. Ghosts of Rosegarden plays at Dansens Hus in Stockholm.
