Drottningholms Slottsteater is one of the world's best-preserved 18th-century court theatres, situated on the Drottningholm Palace grounds - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1766, it still uses its original stage machinery. Each summer it hosts opera productions performed in authentic baroque style.
