About the venue

Götheborg is a full-scale replica of an 18th-century Swedish East Indiaman that sank outside Gothenburg in 1745. The reconstruction was built in Gothenburg over more than a decade and launched in 2003. The ship hosts guided tours, conferences and cultural events, and has sailed long voyages to destinations including China.
