Tea Tasting on Ostindiefararen Götheborg

Ostindiefararen Götheborg hosts a tea tasting in collaboration with Thehuset.

During the tasting, you will sample 12 classic tea varieties: white, green, oolong, black, and post-fermented (Pu-erh) tea. You will also learn to prepare Pu-erh cakes in the traditional Chinese way using a Gaiwan.

In the 18th century, the Swedish East India Company imported tea from China - including Keemun, Lapsang, and Pu-erh. Some of these varieties are featured in the tasting aboard Götheborg.

No prior knowledge is required. The tasting is suitable for anyone curious about Chinese tea history and Chinese teas. Age limit: 12 years.

Location: Pier 4, Eriksberg, Gun Deck aboard the ship.
