About the venue

Världskulturmuseet opened in Göteborg in 2004 as one of Sweden's national museums, dedicated to contemporary global cultures and social issues. The striking glass-fronted building was designed by the Spanish architecture firm Bopbaa. Alongside its permanent and temporary exhibitions, the museum regularly hosts film screenings and live performances.
