Maja Ivarsson (född 2 oktober 1979 i Åhus) är sångare och frontfigur i Helsingborgsgruppen The Sounds, som slog igenom internationellt med debuten 'Living in America' 2002 och sedan turnerat med band som Foo Fighters, No Doubt och The Strokes. År 2025 tog hon steget som soloartist - hon tävlade i Melodifestivalen med 'Kamikaze Life' och gav ut två EP-skivor som blandar new wave-gitarrer med ett mer elektroniskt popsound.
Ivarsson released her second solo EP 'Iconic' in August 2025, a four-track set blending rock anthems with pop influences.
Ivarsson performed a solo headline set at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, mixing The Sounds classics with new solo material.
Ivarsson was unable to join The Sounds at the Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena due to visa issues; the band performed without her.
