Swedish metal band Tungsten launches their fifth album "Ashes" at Mejeriet in Lund. Founded by drum legend Anders Johansson alongside his sons and vocalist Mike Andersson, the band is on their first European headline tour.
Anders Johansson (born 25 May 1962, Stockholm) is a Swedish heavy metal drummer whose career spans over four decades. He is best known for his tenures with Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force (1984-1989) and HammerFall (1999-2014), and also drummed for Manowar from 2019 to 2022. Son of jazz legend Jan Johansson and brother of keyboardist Jens Johansson, he co-founded the power metal band Tungsten in 2016 together with his sons Nick and Karl.
Tungsten performed at Germany's RockHarz Festival in Ballenstedt in July 2026.
Tungsten released a new single 'The North Will Rise' featuring Sonata Arctica.
Tungsten released the stand-alone single 'Cry For The Fallen' with an accompanying music video.
Tungsten played major European festivals in summer 2025, including Midalidare Rock Fest (Bulgaria), Leyendas Del Rock (Spain) and Riverside Fest (Switzerland).
Tungsten released their fourth studio album The Grand Inferno via Reigning Phoenix Music on November 8, 2024.
