Finnish electronic music producer Darude performs at Bonfire Festival 2026 in Linköping.
Darude (born Toni-Ville Virtanen, 1975, Eura, Finland) is a Finnish DJ and electronic music producer whose 1999 trance single "Sandstorm" became one of the best-selling and most-streamed dance tracks ever recorded. Hailed by DJ Magazine as "Finland's biggest musical export", he has released five studio albums and performed in over 70 countries. He represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with singer Sebastian Rejman.
Darude launched the Storm 25 World Tour to mark 25 years since "Sandstorm", kicking off in Sydney in March 2025 and continuing across Australia, the US, UK, and Europe.
"Sandstorm" passed 500 million streams on Spotify, 25 years after its original release.
Darude released his fifth studio album Together, praised for its euphoric energy.
The Storm 25 World Tour continued into late 2025 with a stop in Dallas in December.
