Filip Laurits is a gardener at the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, a literary scholar and author. He chairs Föreningen FASAD, an association that campaigns for the preservation of quality older buildings in Gothenburg. His commitment to the cause grew from living for over a decade in a landshövdingehus in Södra Gårda that faced demolition.
