Swedish rock bands Graveyard and Blues Pills perform together at Filmstudion in Göteborg.
Graveyard is a Swedish hard rock band from Gothenburg, formed in 2006 by Joakim Nilsson, Rikard Edlund, Axel Sjöberg and Truls Mörck. Drawing heavily on 1970s blues-rock and proto-metal - with echoes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Cream - they broke through internationally with Hisingen Blues (2011), which hit number one in Sweden. After a brief split in 2016 and a reunion the following year, they have kept releasing albums on Nuclear Blast, most recently 6 (2023).
Graveyard played Wacken Open Air 2025 (August 1) and Parksnäckan in Uppsala (July 25), continuing an active European festival run.
The band performed at Gröna Lund in Stockholm on June 11, 2025.
Graveyard toured Spain and Portugal in April 2025, with shows in Lisbon, Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
Graveyard supported Baroness on a UK and Ireland tour in November 2024, with dates in Nottingham, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
Graveyard released their sixth studio album, titled 6, on September 29, 2023 via Nuclear Blast Records.
