Joel Lyssarides Trio is a Swedish jazz trio featuring pianist Joel Lyssarides, bassist Niklas Fernqvist and drummer Rasmus Blixt. Lyssarides is known for his melodic depth and sense of space, and in 2019 he was named Musician of the Year by Sveriges Radio, receiving the Jazzkatten award. The trio plays with a balance of careful intention and spontaneity.
