Joel Lyssarides Trio

There is a strange beauty and an almost astonishing clarity in Lyssarides' playing.

With his distinctive tone, melodic depth, and a rare sense of space, Joel Lyssarides has established himself as one of Sweden's foremost jazz pianists. In 2019, he received the Swedish Radio award Jazzkatten as Musician of the Year. Together with Niklas Fernqvist on double bass and Rasmus Blixt on drums, the trio has developed an interplay where every note feels considered yet spontaneous.
