Kylesa is an American sludge metal band from Savannah, Georgia, active since 2001. Built around the dual guitar-and-vocal core of Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants, the band blends drop-tuned sludge riffs with psychedelic and crust punk textures - and became known for deploying two drummers live. After going on indefinite hiatus in 2016, they returned to the stage in 2025 to mark their 25th anniversary.
Kylesa announced a new lineup for their 2025 reunion tour, adding drummer Roy Mayorga (Ministry, Stone Sour) and bassist John John Jesse.
Kylesa added four European club dates to their 2025 reunion itinerary, including shows in Aalborg, Athens, Berlin and London.
Kylesa officially announced their return from an eight-year hiatus, with their first show confirmed at Roadburn Festival 2025 in Tilburg, Netherlands.
Kylesa are booked for a European tour in summer 2026, including dates in Barcelona (Primavera Sound), Antwerp, Paris, Cologne, Tilburg and Vienna.
