Danish rock band D-A-D takes the stage at Stora Scenen on Liseberg. The group behind the classic Sleeping My Day Away showcases an extensive repertoire spanning over four decades.
Laust Sonne (born 11 December 1974) is a Danish drummer who joined hard rock band D-A-D in 1999, replacing founding drummer Peter Lundholm Jensen. He made his recording debut with the band on the album Everything Glows (2000) and has been part of every D-A-D release and tour since, alongside Jesper Binzer, Jacob Binzer and Stig Pedersen. Outside D-A-D he has fronted his own band Dear and played in several other Danish rock projects.
D-A-D released 'Live from the Arena', a limited-edition RSD 2025 vinyl LP recorded at the sold-out Royal Arena show on 1 November 2024.
D-A-D played a sold-out 40th-anniversary show at Royal Arena in Copenhagen on 1 November 2024, with original drummer Peter Lundholm Jensen making a surprise appearance.
D-A-D released their 13th studio album, Speed of Darkness, on 4 October 2024 via AFM Records, their first album in five years.
Ahead of the Speed of Darkness release, D-A-D completed a 24-date European festival summer tour and announced a further 16-concert Scandinavian and European run.
To mark their 40th anniversary, D-A-D received their own exhibition at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen.
