Mamma Mu & Kråkan are beloved Swedish children's characters created by Jujja and Tomas Wieslander, first heard on Swedish Radio in 1985 and later illustrated by Sven Nordqvist. The duo has appeared in over twenty books, animated films, radio series and stage productions, with the books translated into more than thirty languages. As a live music act they perform sing-along minishows and meet-and-greet events at venues across Sweden and Finland.
Author Jujja Wieslander appeared at Bokmässan in Gothenburg in September 2025 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mamma Mu.
The 40th anniversary was marked with a new board book, 'Kråkans kläder', published by Rabén & Sjögren.
The picture book 'Mamma Mu blir ledsen' won first prize at the Adlibris Gala in the category Best Children's Book 0-6 years for 2024.
The stage show 'Mamma Mu bland cyklar och fiskar' toured Sweden from 8 February to 30 March 2025.
A 'Muuusikäventyr' minishow with meet-and-greet was held at Kongahälla Center in April 2026.
