Ola Salo (born Rolf Ola Anders Svensson, 19 February 1977) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and the lead vocalist of glam rock band The Ark, which he co-founded in Rottne, Sweden in 1991. The band broke through nationally in 2000 with the album We Are The Ark and the hit 'It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane' - a song that earned Salo a Grammis for Song of the Year. Beyond The Ark, he has translated and performed in Jesus Christ Superstar, released solo material, and is an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.
Ola Salo and Peter Jöback launched their joint arena tour 'A Show Extravaganza - Salo & Jöback', opening on 9 October 2025 and closing at Avicii Arena in Stockholm on 29 November 2025.
Ola Salo appeared at Allsång på Skansen in Stockholm in August 2025.
