The Ark Tour 2026

The Ark describe the tour themselves: "We did the 2022 tour on somewhat shaky legs, as a kind of loving journey through memory. Then something happened; what was meant to be a temporary reunion for one summer instead awakened something to life. Something greater than we had imagined was born. We wanted more. Together. Not to repeat ourselves, but to create something new together. Suddenly music began to emerge as well. In 2026 we distil everything we have been down to the core of who we are. This is not just a revisit, but we want to create the ultimate The Ark experience. A visual and musical whole that is the essence of The Ark."

The band consists of Ola Salo (vocals), Lars "Leari" Ljungberg (bass), Mikael Jepson (guitar), Martin Axén (guitar), Sylvester Schlegel (drums) and Jens Andersson (keyboards). They achieved their breakthrough in 2000 with the album We Are The Ark and the single It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane, which won a Grammis award. This was followed by the albums In Lust We Trust (2002), State of the Ark (2004), Prayer for the Weekend (2007) and In Full Regalia (2010) before the band announced they were ending their activities in 2010. In 2022 they reunited for a jubilee tour.
