Syster Sol is the stage name of Isabel Sandblom (born 1983, Sollentuna), a Swedish reggae singer, songwriter and DJ who has been a leading figure on the Swedish reggae scene since her solo debut in 2008. She co-founded the band Livelihood before launching a solo career that has produced several albums, from Dömd att bli bedömd (2009) through to ANITYA (2021), blending West Indian rhythms with Swedish-language lyrics rooted in themes of love and social awareness. Her hit Kärleksrevolt! has accumulated close to 18 million streams on Spotify, and she won the Kingsizegala award for Best Reggae/Dancehall in 2014.
Syster Sol is set to open for The Wailers at Ullevi Plaza in Gothenburg on 24 July 2025.
