British progressive rock band The Pineapple Thief takes the stage at Pustervik in Göteborg.
The Pineapple Thief are a British progressive rock band from Yeovil, Somerset, founded in 1999 by singer-guitarist Bruce Soord. Their music blends prog and alternative rock with a moody, melodic sensibility, and the 2018 album Dissolution - recorded with Porcupine Tree and King Crimson drummer Gavin Harrison - brought them wider recognition across Europe. With 16 studio albums and tours spanning North America, Europe and South America, they rank among the most prolific and internationally active acts in contemporary progressive rock.
The Pineapple Thief announced their seventeenth studio album Far and Wide, due October 9, 2026 via InsideOut Music, alongside the lead single 'New World Order'.
The band signed with InsideOut Music (Sony Music), marking a new label home after years on Kscope.
The Pineapple Thief announced a five-track EP, Last to Run, released November 8, 2024 via Kscope, featuring material from the It Leads to This sessions.
It Leads to This, the band's fifteenth studio album, was released on February 9, 2024 and reached number 1 on the Official UK Rock and Metal Chart.
The band announced a North American tour for November-December 2024, their third visit to the continent, in support of It Leads to This.
