Progressive metal band Haken takes the stage at Debaser Strand in Stockholm.
Haken are an English progressive metal band formed in London in 2007 by guitarist-keyboardist Richard Henshall, guitarist Matthew Marshall, and vocalist Ross Jennings. Over seven studio albums - from the debut Aquarius (2010) through to Fauna (2023) - they have built a reputation for long, technically demanding compositions that move freely between prog metal, jazz fusion, djent, and symphonic rock. Their 2013 InsideOut Music debut The Mountain is widely regarded as a landmark in modern progressive metal.
Haken announced the EP 'In a Fever Dream', due digitally on July 17, 2026, featuring guest bass work from Bryan Beller and Adam 'Nolly' Getgood, alongside a 17-date European headline tour running September-October 2026.
Haken released the single 'Bleeding Sky', co-produced by George Lever and featuring Nolly Getgood on bass, ahead of their autumn European tour.
Guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green departed from Haken, with the band confirming new music was in the works for 2026.
Haken released the live album 'Liveforms: An Evening With Haken', recorded at the O2 Forum in London on September 21, 2024, mixed by Jens Bogren and filmed by Paul Green Productions.
Haken announced a Latin American tour leg for spring 2025, with dates in San Jose, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Santiago, and Sao Paulo.
