True Loves is an eight-piece instrumental funk and soul group from Seattle, Washington, founded in 2014 when drummer David McGraw, bassist Bryant Moore, and guitarist Jimmy James started jamming together. The band has since grown to include a full horn section and percussionist, releasing two studio albums - 'Famous Last Words' (2017) and 'Sunday Afternoon' (2021) - and earning millions of streams through their high-energy live performances, including widely shared KEXP sessions.
True Loves released a vinyl 7" featuring both recent singles 'Good Weed and Red Wine' and 'Dopus No. 1' on Valentine's Day 2025.
The band released the single 'Dopus No. 1' in January 2025, featuring Nigel Hall.
True Loves released the single 'Good Weed and Red Wine' in August 2024, their first new music since the 2021 album 'Sunday Afternoon'.
The band completed their second European tour in 2024, following the release of 'Good Weed and Red Wine'.
True Loves signed with Canadian booking agency Midnight Agency in May 2023.
