Niklas Strömstedt

Niklas Strömstedt describes the performance in his own words:

"I've always found it both fun and challenging to do something more than just a straightforward concert when I get the chance to meet an audience. Over the years I've wrestled with temperamental slide projectors, had heated dialogues with myself in the form of a life-sized cardboard cutout, ridden in a triumphal chariot wearing gladiator armour, and I've even toured with an actual therapist who conducted therapy sessions with me on stage between songs.

In 2023 came the book 'ABOUT Niklas Strömstedt', an autobiographical journey through both my private life and my public career. While working on that book, the idea was born to make it the foundation for a stage performance.

Which songs gave you goosebumps? What did Evert Taube say when he called? How do you escape that paralyzing and destructive silence, and when a turkey suddenly hangs under your chin - what on earth do you do then? And love - can you make sense of it?
