Guided Tours of Skansen Lejonet

Guided tours are held at 12.00 on the first Sunday of each month, February through November. During the summer months from 23 June to 27 August, Skansen Lejonet is also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.00 to 15.00.

In 2026, the dates are as follows:

1 February, 1 March, 5 April, 3 May, 7, 23, 25 and 30 June, 5, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30 July, 2, 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27 August, 6 September, 4 October, 1 November.

Skansen Lejonet has guarded Göteborg since 1689 and is one of the city's best-preserved monuments. Today the building serves as a banquet hall for private gatherings and as a lodge headquarters for the Götiska Förbundet's fraternal activities.
