About the venue

Skansen Lejonet is a well-preserved 17th-century fortification on Risåsberget in Gothenburg, built to defend the city from attack from the north. The round tower is one of the few surviving examples of early Swedish military architecture and is listed as a historic monument. Today it hosts events and guided tours, with sweeping views over the city.
