Winter Organ with Johannes Landgren

The programme spans a broad range: Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Det är en ros utsprungen, jazz music by Duke Ellington for alto saxophone and organ, Christmas suite, and romantic organ music by Otto Olsson - all interspersed with improvisations by Johannes Landgren.

Soprano Helena Ek and percussionist Daniel Berg perform, as does alto saxophonist Håkan Lewin. A newly composed song by Karin Rehnqvist is also presented during the evening. As a finale, Czech modernist Petr Eben's Landscapes of Patmos is heard, where percussion meets the full power of the organ.
