Mozart with Martin Fröst

Martin Fröst performs as soloist in Mozart's Clarinet Concerto - a work he has recorded three times and which has made him world-renowned. He believes there is no definitive version: "Every performance of a work is its own statement, contains its own truth... I have changed, both as an artist and as a person. And we change as listeners."

The concert opens with Sugar High by Swedish composer Tebogo Monnakgotla - a humorous piece inspired by the excitement of a children's party. The evening concludes with Brahms' Second Symphony. The orchestra is conducted by German conductor Cornelius Meister, who returns to Göteborg.

One hour before the concert, an introduction is held in Stora salen, lasting approximately 30 minutes, with free seating. The introduction is included in the ticket price and explores the stories behind the works, the composers, and personal reflections.
