Warren Ellis is an Australian violinist and composer, best known as a core member of the instrumental trio Dirty Three. He has a long-standing partnership with Nick Cave - both in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and as part of Grinderman - and has composed scores for several acclaimed films.
