Ronja Robber's Daughter
Lorensbergsteatern, Gothenburg
The production is based on Astrid Lindgren's book of the same name. On the night Ronja is born, a storm rages over the mountains and lightning splits the robber's castle in two - the rival's robber band moves into the other half, and enmity becomes a fact.
As Ronja grows up, she ventures into Mattis Forest, full of grey wolves, wild creatures and rumpnisses. There she meets Birk, son of the enemy's leader. They meet on the castle roof with the ravine Hellsgap between them, and a daring leap becomes the beginning of a secret friendship.
Music: Björn Isfält. Dramatization and direction: Kålle Gunnarsson. Production company: Stage Fantasy, 2Entertain and Vicky Nöjesproduktion. Publisher: NORDISKA APS.
